The ROACH
There are 4500 species of roach, of which 30 are human pests, thus entered the modern cockroach appearing about 65 million years ago in the early Cretaceous period.

Behaviour: Cockroaches live in a wide range of environments adapting easily to a variety of environments preferably warmer living conditions such as buildings. Known to make hissing sounds, some chirp. Egg to adult is about four months.
Size: Large insects about the size of an adult human thumbnail.
Hardiness: Tough.
Reproduction: Lifespan is up to a year with each female capable of producing 300 to 400 offspring or more.
Feeding: Consume human and pet food.
Disease: Produce offensive odours, passively transport microbes including potentially dangerous to humans. Linked to allergic reactions including asthma in humans.
Health Risk: High.
